  1. A massive amount of Bubble wrap isn’t considered gift wrapping? (I hope Amazon does a good job of gift wrapping... Alexa won’t even tell me what’s shipping any more... Sheesh.)
  2. You’re supposed to shop for this??? I thought Greggy just threw some castoffs into a box.
  3. DDOS Attacks: This also happens on a smaller scale in server based games too when they try to interrupt your game client during a real-time game raid/attack/battle. Some of your home Internet routers are probably logging what it considers DDOS attacks and automatically dropping what it considers attempts. Netgear had a bad implementation of Ipv6 I believe in some of its Cable DocSIS 3.0 modem/routers that actually caused WiFi to freeze on occasion (So it's not just XFinity...) But looking at the logs made it look like a DDOS attack.
  4. Considering my daily train commute costs about $16 (including parking) for a 32 minute ride... yeah, I'd say it's an intriguing 7 hour idea... This is also a conduit to the Southern California Conventions.
  5. Megabus coming from LA to Oakland say Nov 2 at night would be around $32.50 one-way. Going home Sat night Nov 3 would be $17.50. Might be cheaper than gas actually depending on your mileage/ wear and tear. (The 2018 business mileage expense rate is 54.5 cents per mile if you're expensing it or writing it off though...) I might have to check out the November 3 one.
  6. (Sorry... had to crash last night. Exhausted.) Figuring out what size keeps an image full size was a pain...
  7. FINAL Commentary and AWARDS What started many years ago as Nik's Grading Contest has now become The Green Eggs Grading Contest. The torch has been passed. In 2013, perennial winner toro once again stepped up to claim the inaugural prize. When 2014 dawned, it was the Age of canickus, and he arose to seize the trophy, winning with a legendary 15 bullseyes out of a possible 20! 2015 saw toro storm back to reclaim his throne. TheGeneral laid waste to the competition and laid claim to 2016. Starting a pattern of winning in ODD years, toro once again climbed the ranks and emerged victorious in 2017. Thus are the legendary grading contest stories born and passed from year to year, generation to generation. Now it is 2018. And so the clarion call to battle issues forth anew. From nearby towns to cities from far off lands, they come. From the far reaches of the Wintry north to the warm shores of the Southern Isles... all come to stake their claim once more and to compete for the Ultimate Prize. 140 Contestants. 20 Books. 10 Rounds. ONE Champion. Whether they were old hands trying once again or babes in the woods learning round after round, each found that this was not an ordinary Grading Contest. Nay, it was something far more. Low grade Golden and Silver Age books abounded! Super High Grade books were few and far between! Few realized that what they had stumbled upon was THE hardest Grading Contest to date! Some could not take the pressure and immediately dropped out. Others quietly withdrew as the rounds grew tougher and the journey that much harder. We started with 140 challengers and we end with essentially 110 challengers to see the journey to its climactic conclusion. The ROUNDS are now over. The Mathematically Eliminated Line has done its silent and deadly duty. Quiet floods the land once again. Weary eyes lift for the final judgment! In the end, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! Congratulations, Azkaban, the 2018 CGC Green Eggs Grading Contest Champion! 9. 2018 CGC Green Eggs Grading Contest Guess Distribution by Round Actual Grades have a thick border around them. This chart shows where players undergraded or overgraded each book in general. Rarely was the distribution perfectly even.

  11. What? If so, it'll be recorded and fixed next round.... (just kidding) EDIT: You are correct. Charts will be revised/updated before Final Rankings are put up.

  18. Round 10 Results will be posted quasi-normally as I'm doing it with my laptop perched on a pillow at my parent's house. FINAL and UNIQUE RANKINGS will be posted later. There will be no ties. The tiebreaker is based on the round of the FIRST BULLSEYE, then the SECOND BULLSEYE, etc. I know it's been a tough contest..sometimes cruel, always fair in that everyone was on the same playing field. In the end, I hope the journey was worth it and that everyone enjoyed the ride... Good luck everyone.
  19. If you got the Unique Grades Recorded response...that meant at the time, I didn't remember anyone else submitting the same grades as you...
