  1. Using LAST YEAR's BRACKET A.. so don't read anything into the bracket... Some Prototypes: (Keeping them small on purpose... They'll be huge when it starts.) Let's see if this works... I don't want to host it offsite yet.
  2. Personally, I could use the time...I have an offsite thing for most of the week next week. (But if we get started, it'll be fine. I just finished the Charts.) I'll post them in a bit. We might use a different one each round since it takes the same amount of time basically...
  3. NOTE: THIS IS IMPORTANT...especially for the seeding round. Most rounds won't have that many books obviously... Good Luck! Bonus= The third spot on grade will be granted 1 bonus win, fourth= 2 bonus wins, fifth through tenth= 3 bonus wins. The BEST you can do is 51 - 0 with a WIN PERCENTAGE of 1.000 The WORST you can do is 0 - 20 with a WIN PERCENTAGE of 0.000
  4. That is not a door latch. That is a free-standing SHOWER CURTAIN rod attached at only one point to the wall.
  5. There are many threads on this board about building your own wall rack complete with instructions and photos... You just have to search for them. (Many different types of racks too... Home Depot wire shelf racks to PVC pipe racks...)
  6. I love those Presidential Mouse pads. I always pick up a new one every time I'm out there in DC for work while I'm looking for some civic-minded gifts for my daughter.... Thanks for sending those extras out, Sharon. (And yes, I'm not ashamed to say I recognize Princess Celestia from My Little Pony...)
  7. What...no mention of the San Francisco Giants Buster Posey mug from the New Yorker? (Just kidding.) I would have included a Golden State Warriors pin but I’m afraid Durant might head over to the Knicks after this season... Love the cat! (We have two now.) Glad you liked it. Picked up a lot of this stuff traveling actually... They charge like $20 apiece for each of those Pebble Beach spa products but you get them free in the rooms... so I was hoping your wife or family might be able to use them. My parents also used to live out there in Rochester, NY so I didn’t want to just include a bunch of comics stuff. Enjoy the random stuff from California.
  8. Avengers Endgame is due to be released in April. In March, literally half of you will disappear each round due to the SNAP.
  9. Some background and summaries of some of the comics in question and the time period... I think that team also co-created Justin Hammer, one of the villains of the movie Iron Man 2. The Whiplash character created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan, was brought back as BlackLash under Hammer during the Michelinie/Romita, Jr./Layton run. http://www.studioremarkable.com/reviews/the-best-of-iron-man-david-micheline-bob-layton-john-romita-jr/7983/ Would anyone be questioning this if he had just clarified that he was partly responsible for the Bronze Age revival/version of Iron Man? Similar to Miller’s work on Daredevil or Claremont/Cockrum on X-men. Layton definitely had nothing to do with the ORIGIN and initial creation of Iron Man. In that same sense, Michelinie would probably say he originated most of the characters that initially appeared in his works. https://www.cbr.com/david-michelinie-comics-creator-credits/ Also... Controversy on the Scott Lang Ant-Man credits... Worth a read. https://www.cbr.com/ant-man-scott-lang-creators/
  10. David Michelini is his best friend and the writer part of the team that co-created these characters so I wouldn’t rush to judgment on anything except for the original Iron Man. Layton was the inker part of the Iron Man team for many of the other characters but may have participated more than we know. (They came over to Marvel as a team.) John Byrne is the listed artist for the creation of War Machine. Joe Staton has the artist credit for the Bronze Age Huntress by writer Paul Levitz.
  11. Sharon actually won the Best Forumite Award in 2009....before Kav joined the boards. 12. Take this to the media... It's got the hook that the News stations would want. Holiday theft. Collection meant for your son. Brazen theft. Clear images of the thieves and a license plate. Something will happen. (Point them to your Facebook page.)
  13. Bird, from past experience, your prize was in someone's Top Ten (or for many more). The way the Raffle played out, higher ranked items were available when the person's number came up.
  14. Is that the one where we were still trying to run these things like a Fantasy Draft? "With the 47th pick in the 201X CGC Holiday Raffle... [ENTER your Name Here] finds his 3rd choice still available and chooses Prize XX...."
  15. That list seems to be not complete... I think 73, the John Berk book, is long gone. (Actually... just not struck through..) Same with 56.
  16. I submitted a form but since HH is at lunch... I'll take Prize 31: Leading Comics 4 - donated by skypinkblu But please send it to nickwire as part of my mystery box...
  17. Great choice! Here are a couple of the things found in an older 2013 sckao Mystery Box...
  18. You’re very welcome. (From GCD) Cover C (Danger Girl Tour Exclusive Cover). This edition was published for the March 1998 Signing Tour by Campbell, Hartnell, Garner, and Dunbier and is signed by all four creators/editors.
  19. Only the people with access to the form data can really run it...
  20. My Secret Santa was @Red84 and he was kind enough to send some great presents for my daughter. We also found out that he is an artist which is a nice surprise. You should definitely check out his artwork. (The enclosed card is one of his pieces and is an interpretation of Edvard Munch's The Scream and it is amazingly and intricately detailed.) Thanks again for the Super Hero Girlz, book set, Batgirl figure and pencil set!
  21. My Secret Santa package arrived well over a week or two ago...but I hadn’t even opened the external box until today. (It’s for my daughter and the wrapping is lovely.)
