Probably actually a white-pager Nice book. Even though it has more or less all worked out pretty much rue the day I sold my 9.0 for like $1100. Going back I would've kept 6-8 of the key FFs

Hey fellow boardies...my 44th wedding anniversary today. Over the years my wife couldn't quite understand the whole comic-collecting thing...now she's pretty happy I stuck with it... Hope all is well with all my buds and gal-pals and everyone in comicsville!

Was close a time or two on the AF15 and didn't pull the trigger...such is life. On a related note my ASM 1 9.0 is a trim job and I'm sure looked upon with disdain by many...which is fine and to each her/his own. But they are real copies and most importantly, they are ours. The ASM cover colors are so bright to me it negates a lot of that but it is what it is. My friend Brian (foommember here) has a 9.0 AF15 beauty he picked up from Gator years ago. Envy is not an emotion that sits well with me and doesn't really motivate me. So if it ends up in the box so be it but if not will not lose any sleep all the while contemplating should I just sell 'em all soon and give the money to the kids' trust. But I do enjoy going through the box from time to time. I'll PM you when I get a few more minutes to catch up. As I said...and condolences on your dad's passing...otherwise hope all is well with you and family.

Hey Don...long time. Wonder what's been going on with you...hope all is well. Not on here much anymore as well as my comic collecting has largely come to a halt. Sweet book...KEEPER for sure! Will probably spring for an AF15 one of these days but otherwise my collecting DNA has gone to different interests. Last I remember you ended up with my play forward Marvel Masterworks HULK 1-6 book lol...

Wanted to echo others and say a BIG THX to Mike for putting this on...always a lot of fun and good practice. Also to zzutak for the metrics and data (hey Jay been a while hope all is well with you/family). Got better the last 2 rounds for me...it was just the few books 3 off and I think 1 4 that killed me...If you threw out my 5 worst scores I had a 14 on the other 15 books...14 point.5 offs and 1 bulls-eye... Now...about that TEC 32...

Well I finally got one bulls-eye out of 20...lol. For the WA book. Blew it on the SC68...initially had it at 4.0...then went to 4.5 and figured the GA bump and got to 5.0 sure was a lot nicer than a lot of other 3.5s I have seen. Had ST152 at 9.0 and bumped to 9.2 another over-grade. Same with XM101 was at 9.2 and was leaning toward 9.0 and then inexplicably put in 9.4 when I was posting the grades. Settled on 5.5 for the SS1 I would not buy that book as a 6.0 Ended up at 7 points I think that puts me at 32...

point.5 grades off submitted. Was thinking any score at end of round 4 20 or less is XLNT as that would be 0.5 off on 20 of 20 books. I'm not going to get there but just sayin'

CGC generally doesn't subtract anything for structural aspects such as misalignment...just FYI moving forward. My best round so far...no bulls-eyes but more importantly no bombs... Graded 3.0/9.2/4.5/4.0/5.0 so 1/2/1/1/1 = 6 points. Had the HTD1 at 9.4 and nudged to 9.2 thought there was a light crease lower right corner. And finally under-graded a book...the ASM AN1 at 5.0.

If a hem is a point.5 in one direction and a haw is a point.5 in the other direction hopefully I hemmed and hawed my way into the correct grades...

Grades submitted...nowhere to go but up...I hope... (actually per a previous post I feel pretty good about my grades (.5 off on 7 books = 7 points...you'd think at least a couple of those would've been bulls-eyes given the basic odds) and 12 off on 3 books I missed by a mile...having fun Hoping my "guesses" are VERY accurate for tomorrow's Kentucky Derby...

I gave the Subby a 9.4 as well I have graded 7 of the 10 books at 0.5 off...and bombed on 3 books with respective scores of 3, 4 and 5...to add to my other 7 points. Thus I suck apparently.

Are the scans able to be enlarged? Haven't gone there yet but seems like people are seeing things I'm not seeing.

Ouch is right! .5 off the Lulu and FF...dam just nudging to the wrong side of the CGC grade. Not sure what's going on either on the Subby 8 had that at 9.4...and got creamed on the BAT AN10. Had 9.6 all day on the XM238 and then changed to 9.8 on grade submittal. If my math is correct 12 points...
