  1. That is very sharp. I need that one, but the right one and price doesn't come along often.
  2. I appreciate you too, and let me know where your kudos thread is.
  3. That PGX 7.0 looks much better than, the three edges look really sharp. I wonder what's wrong with it. Good luck, because there is a PGX ASM there I'd like to see out of the case too.
  4. Great buyer and excellent communication. Thanks Frank for taking the ASM 25 from my thread. I appreciate it.
  5. Jason, did you see the restored AF 15 that David offered last week? It was a 9.2, but after a couple of tear seals came loose, and Stan signed it, it became a 7.5 PLOD. It still looks easily 9.2, for a moderate professional copy it's worth a look. I wasn't thrilled to still just have a 5.5 and 6.0 trimmed, so I hunted this nice trimmed 9.0 that is very solid. Go get one.
  6. The #34 is nice too, it's one of my favorites, and my first copy was VF+ until I left it in the back window on a trip.
  7. It's a nice copy, and I think a good price for it.
  8. How did it go, it was $42k earlier?
  9. No telling, my memory, I'd say 20-25 years and under $200. I only remember a few prices, the ASM 1 Annual that turned out to have color touch, I gave $255 for that in the mid 80's.
  10. I have just one new SA this week, it's from my old raw collection.
  11. That books is insane. Just beautiful. Thanks Barton, I got it from Bob S, from last year. I had been hunting one without any white along the spine. Now I just found another 9.6, so...
  12. Big thanks to Joey, I appreciate the quick payment for the 9.8 ASM 100 book. Let's do it again. Regards,
  13. I don't understand, are you saying you can't go on the PL for not sending out invoices because it wasnt " completed" or talking about something completely different I would see that as meaning the seller failed in their part of the transaction. The transaction begins when both parties agree to the terms. When the buyer knows that he said he takes the book, and the seller responds stating that they know it and reflect it in the thread, the time should begin. If there are multiple books then the two parties should recognize that, and keep up with the group, so the start would be when they both acknowledge when the last book is "taken."
  14. Those colors are beautiful. That's part of the appeal of new books, the nice shiny covers, deep colors etc. With older books that look so good, there's no need to buy new books with cover prices of $3 etc.
  15. I think I have a #8 of Uncle Scrooge, from among an old give away box of rough comics. Good luck with the sale, there are lots of people hunting good deals.
  16. Thanks, I don't know what the defects are. It came from the 2011 CLink auction I believe. The #11 is so hard to find that I was glad to see it. I will be taking it and others out very soon though, to see what the actual books are like. I can't fit very many slabs into a safe deposit box, but 150 Mylars should easily go in a 10"x10" box.
  17. Well done. I had the raw books in the 7.5 to 9.2 range, and then began upgrading to the 9.0+ stuff.
  18. Even her leg is sexy. I began in the early 130's range, and the MVS's got me started at buying other titles, new. Then I found out we had one thrift store on the base(Mannheim Germany), so I was trading new stuff for old, for a nickel each. It took me until the #147 range to discover dealer ads and begin to buy the old issues. I still have most of those low grade raw copies.
  19. Cool book and really nice colors. Now find a long scanner and show off all of your books better.
