I found that using newspaper instead of a plastic bag is better for wrapping the books - it's much easier to remove the tape that has them held to the thick cardboard backer and you can just rip it off instead of the tape clinging to the plastic and maybe bending the book. Just my

I finally scored a nice, complete, low grade, single digit Spidey without having to break the bank.

I remember why, a couple of years ago you posted a on a cap 110 cgc 9.0 that I had for sale on the forums then you backed out of the deal saying that the book wasn't what I said that it was. I remember telling you that its a cgc 9.0 with ow-w pages and you still said that it wasn't what you wanted. I then tried to put you on the probation list and you erased it. Maybe we should call it "First Offense", "Second Offense", etc., instead of level. However, just thinking about it, that's going to be a loooong list after a year if we keep having incidents like those recently recorded.

I bought a box as well. I think you need to read the original ad... It said at least 300 Marvel/DC. A long box contains more than 300 comics if they are unbagged/unboarded. My box contained about 300 Marvel/DC comics. It also contained about 40 comics that were clearly used as padding/filler (Heroes, Inc.) I'm assuming you got 35 copies of Heroes, Inc. I think that ad said generally VG and up as well so I wasn't expecting to find 9.4+ comics. (I bought them to stick the books onto my comic rack generally.) With the 35 copies of Heroes Inc there were a total of 303 books. If they were just filler then I was shorted 10% of the total I was suppose to receive. When someone list grades ranging from vg to vf I expect some books to fall in the fine range and some to actually be vf. I got a box of beaters. The only books that weren't completely shot were the 35 copies of the Heroes book. He also guaranteed no more than five of an issue and I had double digit books that had anywhere from 7 to 16 copies each. After you include all the other dupes at 2-5 each on other books I ended up with a massive collection of super low grade duplicates of common 2nd string titles. In short, a big box of mess. As for this not being the place I was instructed by a mod to make this post in this specific thread. If others were happy with their lots I am sincerely happy for them. Perhaps I got a very sub-standard lot but for what I received and what I paid I feel completely scammed. I'll ask again what I asked earlier... Or at the very least, make it like a prison sentence, and give him X years on the list. After his behavior and repeated problems/time on the list, removing him now would be a real joke. I disagree. Membership in the Hall of Shame should be permanent. There should never be former members of the Hall of Shame. That's the wrong message to send, especially when it is such an offense that it has only been given 4 or 5 times. He/She whosoever are granted Hall of Shame status will be required to carry their scarlet HoS. I agree. Perhaps we should just ask for a body part . . . Which part would you like?

There's a way to get around just about everything, for sure, but may have a weak moment when they sign up and are honest.

If I read correctly, the MODS can restrict people from posting in certain forums, so why not suggest that anyone under 18 is barred from seeing or posting the sales forums and the WTB forum. This way any age-related legalities are overcome. Arch, can you make it so?
