I always liked Cap and can't help but wonder what may have triggered this dramatic change in his nature. My 17 year old has a record and it's caused him a world of trouble...it would be nice if some positive intervention could help avoid that. His father should be involved in this since he was using his account and he is liable. His father may be able to financially rectify the situation and put his son back on the right course. I still have hope that the end result is everyone gets their money back and Cap comes to his senses and continues in the hobby when he grows up. All his actions may be due to spending beyond his means with no way to replace the funds short term coupled with a teenage recklessness approach to the problem. The question that comes to mind to me is that if TFL was having trouble coming up with the $$, was he told that there was another offer on the table for the HT? If he was then it was his chance to bail on it instead of stringing Filter along the road to nowhere.

Just make sure he hasn't removed himself from the PM thread. It happened to me once when I got really upset that someone was not responding even though the message was being read immediately to later figure out that he was no longer a participant. :doh: If he's just not responsive then burn the heretic!

I agree - Gene Colan's work took Dr. Strange to a whole new level. Just like John Romita took ASM in a whole new direction which I enjoy slightly more than Ditko's.
