Please grade this Strange Tales 135
Mdrguy101 replied to Mdrguy101's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
I did not buy this one. Thanks all! -
Hoping more 6.0 to 6.5 with a C&P. anyone else?
-
So I ended up getting this one recently. Please let me know your thoughts on grade. Looks like it would definitely benefit from press. One concern...bottom right back cover discoloration and small tear. Thanks.

Just completed by first transaction here and am so happy it was with Cory as it couldn't have gone smoother. Pleasure to deal with and glad I sent an old favorite I've had for 40 years to someone who will appreciate it.

Yeah, killer crease and the back cover top left isn't good either. I was thinking same range as you, but hoping those two don't bring it down to 5.0 ish. -
Thinking of buying but wondering what impact that one big crease in corner will have on grade (along with other smaller defects). Thanks!
-
Thanks! I did not buy it

Sorry for all the typos!

I'm looking into buying a book that is CGC 9.6 Curator Pedigree. I'm guessing the Pedigree is a special collection, but does it double the value? I'v never owner a pedigree conic, but the Seller is asking twice the FMV of a 9.6 so wondering if this is fair. Thanks for any info you have on this.

I love that cat avatar Galen. Cracks me up no matter how many times I see it!

PGM Amazing Spider-Man 8
Mdrguy101 replied to BoogieWoogie's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
yeah cant go over 3.0 with that large stain on cover. -
Thoughts appreciated on grade. Didn't remember Chris Claremont had signed it until I pulled it out of the short box for the first time in 30 years. Now I remember my LCS said the owner knew him or something,

Considering the CGC 2.0 UKPV just went for $7100, what do you think a fair price would be for a raw copy with the same grade (obviously an estimated grade since it is raw). I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one, but don't want to overpay, yet don't want to low ball the seller either. Any thoughts? Hope this question is appropriate for this forum otherwise can delete. Thanks.

Grendelbo is right on it...9.2...C&P to 9.4.

Appreciate the thoughts!

Hi. Had this in my collection over 40 years and pulled it out today for the first time in a while. Cover is bright and glossy. Any thoughts on grade are appreciated. Book is complete with no interior flaws. Thanks!

6.5-7.0

It is pretty rough, but they aren't asking much. Does the teen corner take it down to below 2.0 range? Thanks for your thoughts.

Appreciate the informative post. I have a lot to consider.

Is the UK edition of X Men 1 considered more or less valuable than an identically graded copy of the American version? Thanks.
-
It is a small color breaking crease, not a tear. Thanks for looking.
