After my initial reaction that Ollie should have killed Slade, and revisiting the words he said to him in the cell, I've come to understand that by not killing him he had proven to himself he's graduated to the level of a super-hero who fights crime but does it without (purposely) killing the evil-doers. Like Batman! BTW, I posted this in the new thread about the Flash on CW "Over on CBS sibling The CW, the network looks to have what may be the most likely success among all new broadcast series next fall in “The Flash.” The CW did an excellent job of launching this show, first by making it a backdoor pilot out of “Arrow,” and then by giving it one of the splashiest introductions in all of upfront week at the network’s high-energy event. “The Flash” strikes me as a show with the potential not only to succeed but to cast a halo effect over its entire network, the way “Gossip Girl” once did."

I kinda like the old fart, but that's a pretty funny (and partly true) observation

That's terrible. I see that seller, LewisWayneGallery, a lot. Are they not legit ? Maybe it's another case of trying to manipulate GPA. There has to be some sort of left-hand-doesn't-know-what-the-right-hand-is-doing syndrome going on, since I have my copy registered with HA. I must be thick, let me see if I have this right, the book that is listed on eBay (link above) and is also registered (?) at HA, is the same book you have in your possession?

All the characters have improved considerably, IMHO. I'm still having a tough time believing Coulson is a badass. Even when he struck the pose at the end of the show, it looked like someone posing like a tough-guy. I guess it'll take a while to washout my memory of him playing the loser dad on the "other christine" or whatever that sit-com I first saw him was called. I do agree that May has improved a LOT, but I also think that Sky has gotten better. She seems to be feeling more comfortable in her skin (and the role in general) and also has toughened up - evident by how she acted when she stood up to Ward when she knew he could have killed her.

I can't figure out why Slade is still so angry after being given the cure for Mirakuru enhancement. Roy's rage was gone after he got the cure? Why is Slade still acting all roided out? They must have more in store for the character down the road. I don't understand how Ollie can let him live after what he did to his mother - and he nearly murdered Felicity as well! I'd have wasted him when I had the chance - why Leave such an obviously dangerous killer around to plot an escape - which will surely come if I know anything about how things work. So - is Thea now under MM's influence? Will she try with his help to take over Queen Industries and become Ollies rival for taking back control of the company? What's is store for everyone's favorite - Laurel? Seem like she's been passed the torch by Sara. Can she step up and become Black Canary - and what about her "powers". So much to ponder as we wait for season 3.

I hear you and I feel much the same but I'm also trying to be cautiously optimistic until we see a little more. I do however have some faith as these guys have delivered already with Arrow so we have some sense of what they're capable of. I still want the suit to be redder - why he's called the Scarlett speedster! And put some meat on those bones please!

Very cool season ender. I might have liked it better if Slade had bought the farm though. Looks like Laurel is destined to become Black Canary. Flash, looked ok - but I'm not totally convinced they can pull it off yet.

That was a bit silly, IMHO. But a good episode otherwise. I liked it. Mostly because when I saw him climbing into the chair, I was thinking "Oh gawd, he's coming back as Super Deathlok?" The Coulson smoked him and I laughed out loud - very glad they killed him off and didn't do something lame with his return. I agree, and had a similar reaction - I just thought it was out of character with the rest of the show. But maybe they felt a little comic relief was in order after so much strife. It's good they don't take them selves too seriously. I also had a mixed reaction. I laughed ( how can you not? ), then after thought it was a cheap laugh done at the expense of characters. Exactly. I wonder what others thought? Also - how the heck did Garrett find himself in a position to be able to get into that regeneration chair? Did they just walk away and leave him in the room with it?

I think they are owned by a principal of Heritage Galleries (Jim Halperin). Ironically I once had a conflict selling a book with the same certification number they had - It was an honest mistake (mine mostly) where I picked up the wrong scan and used it in the listing. Maybe it's something like this. They are pretty reputable I believe.
