  1. It's gotten much much better. I'm even looking forward to it now. Not sure where they're taking us though with the developments this week.
  2. Completely agree on the bleh aspect. Arrow has been incredible from the get-go but the recent episodes minus the Suicide Squad episode have been incredibly boring. I know they have to add this soap opera BS to keep some of the audience entertained but it's just predictable and boring. Roy and Thea have to be the weakest part of the show with Moira Queen coming in at a close second. Deathstoke, who I remember being a complete badass, is on a vengeful quest fueled by mirakuru and heartbreak over a women who never looked at him twice. I'm not going to start on the plot holes (the random home movie of Shado that Slade some how obtained, how?) or the fact that Detective Lance has to be the worst detective in the history of television because he can't tell it's Oliver in a green hood. A lot of these things you can overlook because it's a 24 episode season and they have to fill out the entire season with only so much story but season 1 did a much better job of this. Even the flashbacks seem completely forced now. I really enjoyed this show and it's one of three or four shows that I watch and I'm just very disappointed at this point. I deleted my earlier response, which was kinda a nasty response to the fact you don't like the show much. I did so because after some reflection about it, I realized it was wrong of me to do that. You have a right to an opinion, and I have no right to object if it happens to be different from mine. I like the show, and the writing and such. I think the soap opera is necessary depth behind the action - IMHO it wouldn't be as good a show for me if it (was all fighting and action all of the time) didn't have this depth. But it's not perfect, nothing ever is - Carry one . . .
  3. That's actually a VERY interesting point - Thea is his daughter and if Slade is threatening to harm her he might intervene. Wow so many ways this can go!
  4. I'm actually starting to like Laurel a bit more through her travails with substance abuse and blackouts. She might yet be salvageable as a player.
  5. Roy will be known as Thea? If they knock off Felicity, I'm protesting, she's my favorite character! [font:Comic Sans MS]SPE[/font]EDY Felicity is the best They better NOT bump her off
  6. Could be - wasn't there word that someone in the inner-circle would die this season?
  7. Thanks - the back is nice and clean as well (that dust shadow looks worse in the scan). If I was (still) a pressing man, I'd say this is an 8.0 waiting to be born. That however, ain't gonna happen on my watch - leaving it as it is
  8. Not me. I was bottom-feeding and picked up the #52 for $19. Seems no one wanted a 6.5 copy. It's fine for me as a placeholder. While I like Cave Carson, I don't need to break the bank on one. That's honor is likely reserved for a #9
  9. I liked he way Ollie was holding court with the entire team at Verdant, and how he turned to Roy and said "are you ready to go back out there". It seems like he's finally accepted him as a member of the team.
  10. While I kinda agree, but that was a seriously well played and pivotal moment when Thea confronted Ollie about all the lies they live with. It sets the stage for what's bound to be quite a ride.
  11. Good detective work (thumbs u I stand corrected - didn't recall those.
  12. Anyone notice Amanda used the name "Arrow" instead of The Vigilante. Is this the first time Oliver was called the Arrow?
  13. . . . I do agree that The 100 sucked giant . . . ahem But you should give Arrow another shot
  14. So why did we need to know this and what does this have to do with Arrow?
  15. I got to watch this last episode again, too much to take in on only one viewing.
  16. Indeed they are very scarce and pricey. There's a bunch posted in the markeplace threads by AtlasFan I believe here that are like the epitome of this concept these later golden age issues in high grade. I wish I had the onion$ to make a go at them. I know there's a few folks here with fabulous holdings of these later issues in cherry shape.
  17. I think that is speculation on his part. It could be her, but I don't think it was. He seemed to be clear about it - identifying her by the bits of costume and weapons that were revealed (and if you watched it in slo-mo ). But I guess we'll find out soon enough! Can't wait for quitting time
  18. I found this interesting and informative I didn't know that the Huntress was who knocked Diggle out when he was stalking Slade with a rifle
  19. Suicide Squad premieres on Arrow tonight folks! Be there or be square link to preview
  20. Superman collectors have Action #1 as well as his own book Superman #1. Batman collectors have Detective #27 and Batman #1. So why did DC in it's infinite wisdom spread out WW firsts over 3 books Makes it bloody expensive to be a Wonder Woman completist.
