I'm starting to believe this general kind of thing is happening across this hobby. Yesterday, I ordered a book from the inventory of a site that's been thought well of here. Today, I received an email telling me they couldn't ship the book because they couldn't find it and thought it might have been stolen at a trade show. My money was refunded. Seems like a job for Inventory Control System Man!

Had a great transaction. Books were very well packaged and withstood all the USPS could throw at them, or even when they did throw them. Good communication and quick response. Recommend.

By the time I learned to drive, she'd traded it in for a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 which I drove the cr*p out of in high school.

Want to get this guy's attention? I'd encourage you to contact the North Carolina Consumer Protection Division and complain/open a case. Then email him you've done so, hopefully with a case number, and tell him to expect a call from an investigator. NC.gov: Consumer Protection Division

So many people in SALES threads have been deleting their prices after item sells that I may have to stop blocking all the people who do that or there won't be any more threads for me to buy in.
Although I've made few buys and haven't been here long, I also noticed this practice, so when I do "take" something, I do it as a quote from the original book offer, which includes the price I paid. I have purchased 80 books with all kinds of pricing (individuals, lots, etc) in one sales thread and there's no way I could keep it straight if I couldn't go back and look at the pricing.

Gocollect is so out of date it's ridiculous. Data is a month old when the market changes every week
Sure, but in this case it probably doesn't matter. Just makes my point stronger.

According to GoCollect, there was only a $100 difference between a 2.5 and a 3.0 in April of this year. The future may hold something different, but that looks like a "no."

I bought an FF 32 from one of the well-recommended Silver Age dealers on Wednesday, and was told today they couldn't find it, and thought it might have been stolen at a trade show and cancelled my order
