1. Idk
2. Yes!
The reason I asked about the price in the indicia is that the Marvel price variants have a different cover price than the price in the indicia.

I'm curious. What's the price in the indicia? Is it like the Marvel price variants?

I've never heard of Kupferman. What did he work on?
Alan Kupperberg?

But...but could Jordan ink like Layton? Did he claim to be a co-creator of Iron Man?

This concept could work, however, the legal documentation would be considerable.
I would say for 1 book, it would not be worth doing, however, a group of "investors" could start a "fund" in which the assets of the fund were high end comic books. Obviously, like any investment fund, it would need to be managed by someone who would have the ultimate decision on when to buy or sell a given asset (a particular book).
No, the individual investors would NOT get to take the books (the assets of fund) home with them. The assets of the fund would need to be stored in a secure location and insured.
There is a LOT that would need to go into making this work, however, it is possible.
The BIG question would be who to get to manage the fund. If it were my investment, I would want someone like @G.A.tor . Not that he would have any interest in such a project, but he would be the kind of man I would want managing it. Someone with his thumb on the comic market and MORE importantly, someone I could trust.
That sounds like the bitcoin somebody tried to start with an Avengers Annual #7.

Which would be considered the more scarce?

My favorite HTD story! Even Stan Lee wrote a glowing review in the letter page.

I for one enjoy looking at my graded comics and their covers for a few minutes every once in a while and then I put them back in storage for a lengthy while. I am much more focused on the fact that they are quantified with a grade and protected. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t love them or anything, I just don’t mind them. I guess I can agree that a clear case without the rings would be better.
Anyway I’ll tell you what; anyone who wants to sell one of their key books at a slight discount because of NR please contact me for an offer. And that goes for cracked/damaged cases as well. For me It’s about the comics much more than it is about the holders!
Why should anybody be put into a position to take less money, especially when it's not their fault?

70/100 with multiples on many. I hoarded copies of comics I liked when I was actively buying comics. I haven't bought much of anything since the early 90s.
