  3. http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=188784 Above is a link to my trade gallery. I am looking to trade my Infantino Star Wars page for a Buscema Conan page. 1 for 1. If you are interested. Please let me know. I prefer a Buscema Alcala page, but I would also be interested in seeing Buscema with Chan, Dezuniga or Nebres inks. Thanks!
  4. This was for sale for less than 2 minutes on ebay.
  5. Great thread idea! I believe we need to see the best examples of each inker on Buscema to make a true judgement call.
  6. Some marvel and image books do have them. I personally like it when they are there.
  7. My monthly pull from marvel is: Old Man Hawkeye Old Man Logan Hawkeye All new Wolverine Daredevil I am enjoying them all.
  8. I did not buy it, but it did go fast.
  9. I have really been enjoying this show. Tons of development this season.
  10. I was born in 1984 and I started collecting/reading comics while in college. I had many comics and comic toys while growing up, but this is when I started actually collecting. I still read comics and pull about 15 new titles a month from my LCS, but all my collecting attention/money is in comic art now. I bought my first page in 2006ish. I like all eras of art, but the 1970s/1980s are my main focus. It took me a long time to find a focus. I try to collect a handful of characters and do have favorite artists, but the characters are the main deal maker or breaker for me. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=46038
  11. Savage Sword of Conan 109 Gary Kwapisz and Ernie Chan.
  12. Yes, the babe is great. But, why is her foot on/in his? Why is there a paste up? The amount paid was to high for the quality given. We should have a commission experience sticky thread in this forum to post who delivers and who does not.
  13. Commissions are always a gamble and I have sold many that bug me, at a huge loss. On the other hand, I have some that I want to be buried with, so it's up to you to decide what you think. I believe the "babe" is very well done on this. If it cost you a ton of money, I would be more angry about the feet than anything else. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Mine would be the cover to Hulk 181 or the last page splash to 180. Conan the Barbarian 139 is the first comic I ever remember owning, so that would also be a cool one to have.
  15. Good luck with the sales. You may want to change the categories to the comic original art section of eBay and not the comic section that they are currently in. People looking for art will not see them as much the way you have it.
  16. I'm digging this season more than the last. Smallville was my favorite series ever and the CW is doing things for fans that was undreamed of back in the 1990s, with more on the way. I was just a kid when the JWS Flash premiered and I loved that show then, but it failed in a Flash and even Lois and and Clark only lasted 4 seasons. This new Flash is something me and my wife watch together. Many of my coworkers and most of my students watch it live or watch old seasons on Netflix. A new generation of both boys and girls are growing up with the Flash in their life and people that never knew the character do now. Could it be better? Maybe, but it could also not be on at all and that is not a good thing. Many people lurk on this forum and this section is not it's own thing on the main page, so the lack of post may not be a huge indicator of lack of interest. Also the guy that was killed on the elevator was on several episodes of Smallville and Erica Durance was just on Super-girl.

  18. Just a general question to the OP. Do you have any experience with comic art or was this a one time buy? There are generally one penciler and one inker for every page in a book. Production and original are 2 different types of art, one being hand done and other not. Are they 11x17 inch? To me, they look like pencil pages or pencils with very tight/light ink. If they are 11x17 then they are most likely the original hand penciled and hand inked art used to make the comic.
  19. I wanted to share this resource for finding estate sales with comic art. Just search comic art and you will find a few estate sales across the country that have comic art listed. There is a great one coming up in NJ. Just type in "comic art" in the search. https://www.estatesales.net/
