[SOLD!] Avengers 50 4.0 Asking Price: $10 [SOLD!] Presents much better, but 4 water drop stains on front cover. One on Typhon’s left knee, a little larger than a dime size. Another below Hercules’ right hand also dime-sized. Otherwise fairly light edge and corner wear on front and back covers. Some lighter spine bends. And some sweet sun/dust shadow action on the ULC and LLC of the back cover.

[SOLD!] Avengers 48 3.0 Asking Price: $185 [SOLD!] Presents decently with nice gloss, but... Stain, lower left corner of front cover. Moisture evidence travels through the book in the LLC and then is evident on the back cover, LRC. Bottom edge of back cover has a moderate piece out, near corner stain. Two additional small tears, bottom edge. Long bend parallel to bottom edge - perhaps caught in a bagging/board accident lo those many years ago...? Front cover corners exhibit smaller bends, abrasions, and creases. Back cover, ULC has two bends and edge-overhang wear. Three small chips out of open edge, back cover, due to rough-cut blade. Spine also has some bends up and down the edge.

[SOLD!] Avengers 44 6.5 Asking Price: $25 [SOLD!] Nice color and gloss. Smaller, diagonal sun/dust shadow LRC area of front cover runs up the bottom of the open edge. Top edge overhang bends. Top and bottom corner areas of spine have some bends. Back cover has some mid and ULC spine bends. Small chip out, lower open edge. And another sun/dust shadow in the LLC area. No idea what a prior owner was doing with this book - using it to block out sun coming in the window?

[SOLD!] Avengers 43 4.5 Asking Price: $30 [SOLD!] Top edge has the most wear, but there’s an accumulation of small color-breaking bends, creases, and non-color breaking bends. Centerfold is loose at the top staple - looks like from manufacturing punching through a little too hard. Back cover has a few lighter bends in the middle of the book, and also some small open edge tears and along the top as well.

[ON HOLD] Saga 1-28 [Set] (#1 is a first print - 8.5) 2-28 9.2 - 9.8 Also two Image Firsts, both signed by Fiona included Asking Price: $300 [ON HOLD] The #1 presents like a 9.2-9.4 range. But it has a moisture droplet of some sort right below the baby’s head on the front cover. I think CGC would kill the book for that - hence the 8.5 grade. Otherwise, light wear. Spine corners exhibit slight burrs at top and bottom. Back cover has two very light bends near the spine edge (near URC and mid-spine). Issues #2-28 range from 9.2 to 9.8. If you need a specific book graded out, LMK. I’ll grab it out of the stack. Overall, the books lean toward higher grades. Let’s call shipping on this set at $6.00

[SOLD!] Shazam 1 6.0 Asking Price: $15 [SOLD!] Excellent gloss & ink strike. At least a dozen spine ticks that break color. Spine corners show a little softness, opens corners are nice. Book has a long, vertical bend closer to the spine side that runs from the ‘S’ in Shazam down through Superman. Another horizontal bend below the lower staple and a third bend below Capt. Marvel’s feet. Back cover looks clean, but a horizontal bend from the open edge through the driver’s goggles, ULC area. Stacking curl bend that runs vertical near the spine. Staples are snug & page quality is supple.

Special Marvel Edition 15 (signed by Starlin) 5.0 Asking Price: $215 Partial staple pop on the cover at the top staple. Bottom part of the staple has broken through the cover. Top part is solidly secure. Spine has about 8 bends and slight color-breaking ticks. Top edge spine corners show stress and impact wear. Lower staple has a slight stress line also. Top edge, open edge and bottom edge have minimal wear. There are pen impression marks in two areas on the cover. First one is below Shang’s left leg. Looks like someone wrote: Pd RN. Then just to the right of the Sumo’s left foot is a pen impression of: 7/25/73 Oh yeah - and I had Starlin sign this at the Baltimore Con back in 2006 or so. Back cover is nicer, but shows some slight wear on the edges and has some light soiling. There’s also a crescent bend that lightly impresses into the back cover, to the right of the ‘Have You Seen This Coupon Before’ text. Staples are snug, page quality is off-white but supple.

A few minor, light bends along the spine edge. #10 has some corner edge wear in the form of slight bends and creases. Spine has about 10 ticks/bends. Back cover spine has some light soiling and a few minor bends. This issue has Starlin at his absolute best, with several mind-blowing layouts & Thanos drawn in full glory. #11 has a long diagonal crease running the full length of the cover in the middle area. Spine has several spine ticks and bends. The URC also has bends and creases. Back cover shows evidence of a slight spine-roll twist. Parallel bend to the crease on the front cover. #12 has about 8 spine ticks, and spine corners has a little wear. Very small bend on upper open edge of cover. Back cover is very clean, but shows some slight red ink overspray in URC area. Great Pip issue, with guest appearance by Starfox. #13 has about 7 light spine bends, including a larger one in the UPC LLC. Excellent color and gloss. All 4 corners are nice. Back cover has 2 small spine bends and one pen-tip sized indent near the top edge. #14 has several small, light spine bends and ticks. Spine corners show wear, and the book is not very glossy. Very light edge wear. Back cover is very clean with just a couple of small spine bends. Starlin gives us a space shark, and Paul Dini has a letter published. #15 has slight spine roll. Just a few spine ticks/bends. Open edge has a slight bend, near URC. Back cover has some evidence of light ink overspray at the middle, top edge. Slight soiling along the spine, with two bends in the LRC. Small bend in LLC as well.

Fantastic Four Annual 6 5.5 Asking Price: $300 Spine has some bends and waves due to manufacturing. Small chip out of bottom corner of spine. Color rub spot on lower staple area of spine, as well as bottom edge in about 6 spots. URC has a small chip out. There is a light crease/bend that starts at the top edge and goes through the CCA and down to the ‘C’ in Fantastic. Some light creasing on open edge, middle. Small crease on Reed’s right thigh. Small diagonal crease, LRC. Back cover spine has more production waves. LLC has a small crease and discoloration on the interior, possibly due to ink overspray on that corner. Bottom edge, near spine has a similar spot. Open edge has some light foxing. Nice copy despite several smaller defects.
