Comiclink was asking for it a while back lol

I thought they were giving and still are not charging 3% if you pay by check or money order instead of a credit card.

That is the way I always pay to save the cc fees.

But I never paid using PP with CL so I don't know but if they were, they shouldn't and I would blame any buyer who opts to lose protection and go against policy to us F&F to buy for goods.

Just added this to my collection.

Original plan was to put it in my comic room but after seeing how heavy it is (300+ pounds), I think it will be in my workshop.

It does need some restoration but that is part of the fun.

What year?  Do the current bottles fit?

I have a small collection of older Coke and soda bottles and have seen some of these machines on American Pickers.

    Really cool.  Congrats.

My answer to all three of your questions is "no".

I think you should just throw the book away.

I am impressed you understood what was being asked.  (worship)

  4. I have a copy somewhere. I remember back in the very early 70s, when I was 10ish, my mom would take me to a LCS/used book store and they had a copy of this under glass in a display cabinet.  I wanted it so badly but it had a $10 price tag.  A lot of money for a comic - even a big one and especially for us.  I think I shed a tear or two

BTW, that store was awesome although at the time I didn't know it.  They had square boxed shelving lining one wall up to the ceiling with all kinds of comics.  They had those sliding library type ladders to climb and dig through the comics.  Not sure if today, letting a 9 or 10 year kid or even an adult climbing those would even be allowed today (imaging if someone fell).

I have no doubt there were tons of GA goodies in those stacks but of course, I went for the newer mainstream Marvel comics.  I think they were 10 cents apiece so I could 10 which is what mom would spend on my habit about every week or so.

You have been on a PCH roll. Are you still flippin' burgers at your restaurant?  Unless you moved, you are in the heart of the area, I would love to live out my days.

I agree that this is the message they are trying to send, and I get it loud and clear. But instead of going standard or FT Ecolonostomy, I will sell those raw

Hey Bird, er, I mean EJ.  I haven't subbed in a while.  A lot of my subs were Economies.  I would love to send in more books but it is really the cost that prohibits me. I don't sub to sell.  More to have my collection in order and easier to liquidate when my daughter inherits it and does sell it.

But now that I am nearly 60, retired and have had health issues, I would love to pare down my collection so subbing to sell has been a consideration but again cost and now the TATs are prohibitive.
