I decided to make my life easier by not counting the Green Lantern - Green Arrow issues. The #33 and #34 are both in my top seven. Hepcat
Well since I posted the Green Lantern covers I like the most on the previous page, I might as well post the covers I rather dislike as well: Quite simply Green Lantern doesn't look like himself on this cover. I don't think grey-tone was a good finish here. And here are another two early Green Lantern covers that strike me as simply blah:

Hepcat
Here's another Green Lantern cover I don't like: Not surprising since Jack Sparling is way down on my list of favourite DC artists. Esaravo

Hepcat
After seeing a house ad for that one in 1963, I coveted it for nearly a year before acquiring a copy through a trade. Lee Enterprises
Hepcat
Gil Kane's artwork, particularly his drawing of human figures, evolved dramatically between the years 1963-64 and 1969-70. Here are some of his Green Lantern covers from 1963-64: Northland copy And here are some of his Green Lantern covers from 1969-70: In my opinion his representation of both human faces and figures declined dramatically over those five or six years. Granted the earlier covers were all inked by the old master Murphy Anderson while the latter ones were inked by Kane himself, but I believe that Kane's style had evolved in a more surrealistic direction over those years. And I much prefer his earlier artwork. Edited May 24 by Hepcat Jaylam and Brkndwnbus

Hepcat
The #24 was the first issue of Green Lantern I ever bought and is neck-and-neck with #16 and #33 as my favourite cover from the Silver Age series.

Silver Surfer
The Phantom of the Space Opera? DC should have fired most of their writers but they cranked out stuff like this for decades.
