I want to say the GA Cap..BUT I have been a JLA fan for ever so I would go with the B&B

 

However, I would be to have either issue in my collection.

I'm not a Cap fan, but yikes. A Cap #1, by Simon and Kirby? Unbelievably cool book and an iconic cover.

 

I'd take a 2.0 Cap #1 over the Brave & Bold. One guy's opinion.

I'd pick up the B&B 28...wait for a little while for the upcoming movie....sell it for a huge profit and pick up the Cap and a GA GGA books in high grade (maybe 20)

I'd choose whichever book I thought I could get the most money out of, which is a tough call: a GA holy grail in great shape, vs. a SA grail that is the best known copy.

 

Then I'd sell the book and go on a prolonged comic buying orgy that would include midgrade copies of SA keys and nonkeys.

 

But if the question is which one would I rather own, it'd be JLA. Not a knock on Cap or the GA, I just collect SA...

Most likely I would go for the B&B. Top census iirc and a beast to find in HG.

The Cap, while not a book I would kick out of bed, is lower grade and more HG copies are available.

B+B #28, but only because Kirby didn't know how to draw back then. Thank god he got much better. (Or was it bad Simon inks that makes the art on Cap #1 look like that?)
