:gossip: Looks like a sub crease and spine breaks. The rest looks great.

 

I still thought it could squeak out a VG/F with the sub crease. It's too bad I don't collect that title.

I don't think it is a subscription crease because I bought this guy's entire collection and he would have had the surrounding issues then, and does not. So, what it might be, and it is a distinction without a difference as it caused the same defect, is that he folded it either in his back pocket or held it that way while reading, or something like that. But, yes, it is a very sweet looking copy and I try to be very tightly conservative on grading! My preference is to give the benefit to the new owner by undergrading rather than keep it for myself by overgrading. (thumbs u

 

Now someone buy the darn thing! Darn rubber-neckers! :makepoint::kidaround:

Ok, I am offering a nice run of Walt Disney's Comics & Stories from # 90 - #159 (plus some earlier and later issues for a total of 79 issues if I counted correctly) as a set. This ranges from 1945-1959 with the bulk of them being from 1948-1953.

 

The grades/descriptions and individual prices (were they to be sold as individual books) are listed below. NOTE: the individual prices are simply for information purposes only; again, this is being offered as a set ONLY.

 

Total amounts to approximately $1,275.00. This is about roughly 35%- 40% of OS Guide (more on some, less on others, but I haven't tried to specifically determine the percentage).

Four Color #386 Uncle Scrooge (Dell, 1952)

 

One of the most important Disney comics. First cover appearance of Uncle Scrooge. Carl Barks art!

 

Condition: interior dust shadow, some spine wear, corner abrasions, VG+/F- (a very conservative grade I believe)

If my screen showed all those at once across they'd be so small I'd call them tacks, not thumbnails.

 

If you edit your post and put a couple of spaces in after every 5 thumbnails in the html it will look like my revision (or just quote/copy/and paste).
