Drummer (of System of a Down) and big time comic book fan, John Dolmayan has opened a new online comicbook shop: Torpedo Comics.

 

I heard a advertisement on Howard Stern this morning.

It's funny his CGC books are almost twice them amount than ebay and you can pick up modern CGC for less if you look hard enough or just wait until some one miss spells the book.

 

I'm not trying to plug my ebay stuff but john has the same captain #25 9.8 for double what I listed a lot of variant books of the same number. maybe he's hoping for the title of who he is to help sell over priced stuff.

Might work for him though!!!!

The free shipping on CGC items (anything over $15) isn't bad and he had some nice prices on some CGC books. $20 for a 9.8 is less then it'd cost for shipping and grading fees. I went ahead and picked up a couple of things.

I bought a Sandman #19 CGC 9.8 from there for $50 which is a totally fair price considering how few Sandman's are graded - when I got it, it turned out to be the error edition. Happy days!
