Hepcat,

I love your HOS collection. I'm a big fan DC SCI-FI and this is one of my favorite titles. I just won the HOS 35 in the latest C-link auction. I must admit I got it for a steal--less than guide. It's a nice 8.0 with a beautiful red cover and a Mark Merlin cover story! Pleae keep displaying yours.

Thanks,

SLR

I recently took the plunge and picked up an issue of HOS #63, the first in my collection. I also must comment on HOS 41. That is one awesome cover. :cloud9:

Check out the ads that appeared on the backs of #17 and #19 and other DC comics in 1963-64. It's no wonder the Aurora monster model kits were a smash hit! Combined with the fabulous box art by James Bama, kids didn't stand a chance of resisting these kits on store shelves.

Hepcat,

Those are some stunning copies you have. I am amazed at the great covers of this run. I had not paid too much attention to this title until recently... :applause:

thanks to your posts. :headbang:

I briefly checked the GCD site and found Kirby did two covers, 11 # 12.

Beautiful copies, especially the 23. :applause:

I gave my copy of #23 to a cousin a few years ago. He was about 13 at the time. I do recall asking my uncle if his grandson ever shared the comics I donated. He replied that they were well tucked away for safekeeping.

The colors on this book are awesome! That's a cool shade of purple and one you don't see often. Very impressive. Congrats! If you ever want to sell it, LMK. But I have a feeling it will remain ensconsed in your collection for quite some time.

That's beautiful. The earth looks greytone...

This cover predates Jurassic Park by quite a few years.

You really don't see this issue much at all.

You're correct. Had I ever stumbled across a nice #18, I would have grabbed it on sight.
