DC Decade - month by month sampler - The 1960s

Everyone else is doing Superheroes thought I'd do something different. Almost did the Flash but was looking for a good title that actually had 12 months during 1960. This will be my last contribution for the year 1960. I may do another for 1961 if I have time.

 

Other than Superman, Batman, Action, Adventure, Detective, House of mystery,strange adventures, Our Army at War and a couple others there wasn't many titles that were out every single month. Most were bi-monthly or even less.

 

 

Full ensemble of Blackhawk 12 issues from January 1960 thru December 1960.

Just to put some easy structure into this thread and give it a firm timeline, how about we allocate two days per year?

 

So yesterday and today (Wednesday) are 1960 days.

Thursday and Friday will be 1961 days

Saturday and Sunday will be 1962 days and so on.

 

This way, we all know where we are in the thread and the whole thing will wrap up in a little under three weeks!

 

So all 1960 is still valid today.

 

I'll assume everyone is happy with the format unless anyone says differently.

I am hoping more people will start to join in, but maybe 1961 will still be a tough year for a lot of contributions. We'll see.
