Grade: Very Fine Minus (-) or Fine Plus (+)???????

Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies No. 145 Nov. 1953

Front Cover: High gloss; 17cm intermittent crease with minor scuffing; Very Slight 1.5mm X 3mm bending upper right corner. Very slight abrasion 1/2mm X 2mm abrasion lower left corner.

Back Cover: High gloss; Slight abrasion spine corners; Edges sharp; 7 mm bend (no color break) upper left corner; Slight hand soiling.

Spine: 10 minor creases 1 – 5mm in length; no abrasion; no tears.

Staples: Clean & shiny.

Interior Pages: Clean & bright; corners & edges sharp; no abrasion; no tears.

Paper Color: White.

Paper Quality: Supple.

Clay, I would have to say 5.5 on this one due to that "17cm intermittent crease". That's a reader's crease, i.e. a crease where the book was folded back during reading, and it's tough for me to go to Fine on a book with a long crease like that. Maybe if it didn't have the spine wear too.

Even that might be generous.

 

Readers creases really hurt a grade and one of those spine creases is pretty nasty. I'm going with 5.0 at best.
