structurally this is a beauty, but the sun bleaching of the very edge of the spine, 3-4 spine nicks, the stain ULC, the light tanning on the back edge and that bend bc LLC probably take this down around 6.5 - 7.0.

 

Too bad because most of this book is "choice"................

Is that sun bleaching on the spine or tanning? If it's tanning, it could be a split spine waiting to happen.

spine is solid with no hint of brittleness that i can detect--i personally grade this book a 7.0 but CGC felt differently they had it certified at 6.5

I don't think this can make higher than a 6.0. Too much spine damage and tanning.
