Sanity has nothing to do with it. It is has to do with what you can afford factored in with the goals you have set for yourself. I would be happy with a white paged 9.0 copy of FF #14, but that book doesn't mean that much to me.

Why not a VG/FN and spend $2350 on whole bunch of others (shrug)

 

If I could swing it, I would buy the NM copy, if I really needed it and could not afford it, I would then settle for which one I could afford.

We are all bored at work and need something to do. :)

What I can't stand is people who not only have nothing to do, but also have nothing truly meaning full to say. Just post after post of mindless meandering. I know this is what a chat forum is made of but It's one of my pet peeves. I hate when people try to impose beliefs on someone and then bring up faulty reasoning to do so.

 

So don't pizz on my love of hi grade and I won't pizz on your inability to appreciate it.

lets not get ridiculous. there is a major difference between G's and 9.2 / 9.0's of course.

I guess you're right. :)

 

Buy it if you can afford it. It all boils down to personal preference and we each have our own standards. I would love to have all 9.8s...who wouldn't? But if your pockets don't go that deep settle for what you can afford :)

 

When I win the next Mega-Millions drawing I will sell all my books and buy only 9.8+ :insane:

I'm not trying to impose my beliefs on anyone here. I'm just merely stating my opinion nothing more.

 

I respect that you collect HG books and I'm not trying to bash you or your beliefs in anyway.
