The Secret Wars run was from a small collection I picked up in Lees Summit, Mo about 12 years ago. 6 long boxes, he wanted $200. Sure. There were lots of early Harley Quinn appearances (no BA 12), lots of cool Indie and Manga, Ghosts in The Shell, Domu, nearly a full run of Blade of the Immortal...still waiting for that movie! I think the Godzilla/Barkley was in there as well. And the Secret Wars. They sat for all this time I finally figured, screw it, pressed them and sent them in, Definitely some good stuff in there I like that Jim Lee wolverine! Mine came back like 8.0 cd4ever
StillOnly25Cents
one thing that bothers me though is while this graded a 9.0 (CCS pressed) the grader notes only indicate a single flaw (one of which I cannot even see on the book) Grader Notes:slice in top staple area back cover additional pics of back, after and before slabbing ADAMANTIUM, Krismusic and grendelbo

Looks like a nice book though, so "slice at staple? " I wonder how that is different from a split spine, how do they quality it a "slice?" Idk 😐 Edited August 20, 2022 by ADAMANTIUM

Since square bound books are not stapled along the spine, the split happens about 1/4 inch in from the spine. It's appreciated and I was going to say I didn't see staples, it didn't click that it was square bound, so that makes sense. Do they look worse in person? Overall, were the rest of the slabs clean?

I got it for tree-fiddy Well for $3.50 early on when I got back into collecting, read it and put it away. FYI the Dirty Pair is also Adam Hughes, and is a Dave Stevens cover homage to Planet Comics They've collaborated before, but this issue is more modern and after Stevens passed of course Krismusic
