1 grade drop from a 9.8. :(

 

...and a mislabel on the 9.4. I didn't spring for the Stan Lee sig on a 9.4 book, but the label says I did. :) Maybe I can claim it's on the inside?

I'm not too sad about. And I prepped them myself. They were pretty much bulletproof; I use fullbacks on the back and front with a window in the front board.

 

I knew it was a soft 9.8 going in.

Gotta disagree. Sure there's a risk when you crack books, but for me a Yellow 9.8 is way cooler than a Blue 9.8.

 

Even a 9.6 Yellow is better than a 9.8 Blue....for me.

 

Besides, in my experience, the books retain their grades more often than not.

 

Bottom line: Not guts, no glory.

just got these in the mail today, all books were bought RAW from the FS threads. none of the books were pressed:

 

this was suppose to be for CGC SS, but i guess CGC dropped the ball. advertised as 9.2
