The auction will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. If anyone wants to make absentee bids, those bids will be the opening bid at the live auction. Some of the stuff in the auction can be seen in my CAF gallery (under Steve Morger). Send bids to smorger-at-comcast.net (with the @ symbol instead of -at-). Bids accepted until 6 a.m. Pacific time on Sunday morning. Best, Steve.

Hope to see many of you there. Look for me on Saturday at the Grading Seminar, the MST3K panel, and the Pixar panel. I'll be wearing a black White Stripes t-shirt and looking through comic boxes (when not at a panel). If you see me, say "Hey!"

Well, I just got back from Super-Con with a detour on the way home for the wife to do some outlet shopping.

Did not seem like the show was as big this year when compared to last year as far as comic dealers are concerned but I think there was more OA than last year.

I had the pleasure to meet board member Gilbertotorres. He is a very nice young man with some great books. (I hope someday to have an ASM #1 and X-men #1). Thanks Gilberto for the Wolvie Origin #1, it was the last one I needed for that set!

I picked up two graded silver age X-men (#13 in 5.0, #20 in 4.5) and two raw (#37 in about 6.0 and #42 in about 5.5). I had intended to finish up the last few books of my bronze age X-men run but found it a little harder this year to find the 8.5ish grade I look for on those in what I considered a decent price. Oh well, the hunt is most of the fun anyway and now I have some left over money for the hunt to continue. I had been holding off on buying until after the con was over but it’s on now!
