PGM ASM 129 I'm considering

19 posts in this topic

Need help deciding to pull the trigger:

FC has indents top right corner where dealer wrote price on sticker while book was in bag, very faint. Those are judge smudges at the top staple-fc. You can see the spine creases bc, none really on the fc.

Wow, I seem to be a bit off concensus on this one... I hit it hard at 7.0-7.5?

To me, that back cover seems to reveal a small snip out of both the bottom and the top, while also showing a few rougher creases?

Still, a fine book... I wish I had an ASM #129. :(

Front cover stain/discoloration to the right if the "R" in Punisher, top staple pull, and spine stresses along the spine. I'm leaning between a 7.5 if that's an actual discoloration/stain and 8.0 if my eyes are just shot from a long day.

This is one of those tough books that has multiple stress lines visible on the back cover because the light soiling on the white highlights them, but there's no sign of them on the front. If you put it in a mylar bag it's going to look like a 9.2, but if you send it in to be graded it's probably going to get hammered.

8.0 seems like a good compromise. (shrug)
