question for the SS people

not that ive looked all that much, but how often are there WD SS's that have Cliff's auto on the book with Robby and Charlie?

if one collected SS's, wouldnt you want everyone who worked on the book to have signed it?

If he's at the same show as the other guys people want Cliff's, but there aren't a ton of folks who will crack a yellow or go out of their way just for his alone.

Cliff usually does SDCC and a small con in New England.

This year he wasnt at SDCC so basically he did not attend any shows that had the opportunity for SS.

Personally I would not crack books for just his sig 2c

His autograph isn't much of anything either, but triple signed books in all the same colour are pretty freaking sharp!

No love for Cliff???

Personally, I think he's worth adding. He's usually not that busy at cons, so you could ask him to do a remark sketch as well. He does an amazing job on those. (thumbs u

I love Cliff's work, but I am not cracking a yellow slab that I paid $40-50 to have done between grading and shipping to add his sig and add another $40-50 to the cost.

If I have a raw that I am adding sigs to it's something I would do.

Oh I do...just a hand written first name isn't exactly the sexiest autograph of all time.

I disagree - personally I LOVE artists who sign with more of a mark than an actual signature. Cliff's is easily recognizable and matches his artwork..

Cliff over Kirkman all day long -- especially since, and this is an OA guys POV here, Kirkman is a terrible artist and a terrible sig :)

Agreed, his little headsketches are amazing!

I pass, but thanks for the heads up.

+1. Won't be buying this, either. But I appreciate the heads-up on stuff like this...there will inevitably be some overpriced "limited edition" junk that I won't be able to resist. :P

Cliffs art is awesome. He doesn't get the respect he deserves. I got this awesome sketch at the Boston comic con last year:

Got to talk to him a bit too. Really nice guy!

Very nice! Yeah, he takes his time and puts a lot of detail into his work.

He may not get a ton of love here though, because its "greytones" for Walking Dead, but he feels the love from Invincible fans since he inks that book. His non zombie art definitely reminds me more of Ottley's style than Adlards.

Here is a sketch cover he did for me:

Those are all great Steve! (thumbs u

These in particular are what I'm talking about with the remark sketches. He puts a lot of detail in them and they look really nice. If you can get the remarks, his signature is well worth adding in my opinion. 2c

I am dumping a load of my walking dead slabs at 99c no reserve on ebay, timed to end at the end of next week's episode. a 19 (9.6) a 27 a 61 a 100 sketch a 100 escape and a 75 SDCC

Do you think this is a good strategy?

I am beginning to think it might not be lol. Prices of books seem to have been closing soft

I really suck at selling comics lol (Much better at acquiring them)

Oh well, it's either dump em now or be wearing a barrel! :insane:
