Hey guys--

 

I typically don't get into the exclusives, but I figured i really wanted to have the first 48 in my collection.

 

What do you recommend? Here are the options: And don't say both.

The HC compendium exclusive (and if so, Gold or Red foil?).

 

The Hardcover omnibus? (meaning I'd have to buy 1 & 2).

 

Hmmm, this is a tough call.

 

if Compendium, then Gold for sure, as it was legit-hard to get.

 

Are you going to read them? then go Omni's as the format is large and beautiful.

Are the Omni's larger? Do they have additional extras? What about the contents of the Compendium HC?

Yes, Omni's are much larger with extra content.

 

The HC is a HC version of the basic Compendium (1-48), no extras

Are all the omnibuses signed?

no, none are signed.

 

my Gold HC is signed (came that way), and my "Road to Woodbury" is signed (because i met Robby last year at NYCC). other then that, i dont care about autographs really.

I think some of the Omnibuses are signed and numbered. Not a ton, but they're definitely out there.

yes, i believe the S&N'd ones are numbered to 150

Just picked up 3 9.8 early issues on the inexpensive side.... woot woot!!
