I think Negan scene was kinda lame. Of all the ways to bring him back. Maybe it's a tease and he'll just sit there.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

 

 

But we don't know how it's going to play out next issue. It could have been done intentionally to see what he did. But what good would come from that?

 

For the last 5 years or so the series has read MUCH better when several issues are read together, imo.

The way I see it:

 

91 - Cameo (preview)

92 - 1st Full Appearance

 

Would you really consider the below pic as a true first appearance? We can't even see his face! This is not something remotely close to the IH 180 & 181 debate where Wolvie even has dialogue in 180. This is just my opinion.

 

 

For what it's worth, TWD Wiki lists 91 as Paul's first appearance...
