I liked it...a lot...but I missed my guess as to what was going to happen. Sorry to spoil it for everybody as this leaves roughly only 1.2 billion possibilities as to what could happen. Oh well...

I thought the same thing about the same things. As I was reading it, I was thinking that this would be such a weak way for Rick to die. No heroics, nobody around, and for no reason. For those reasons, I was scared to flip the page. The unexpected is just the kind of thing you you might expect when reading TWD

I was first in line in 5 degree weather at my local store, asked right away for the sketch 150, and they said it was already being held for someone else.

 

On one hand, that seems like a crummy thing to do. First come, first serve!

 

On the other, offering rare comics to store-favorites is understandable.

 

What are your guys takes on this? Holding htf comics for people over letting them just go to whoever grabs it first.

I should mention that this was going right into my PC. I managed to snag the black and white 1-store copy of 115 and its hanging proudly on my wall.

My thought is the customer they are holding it for probably called the LCS the moment they knew that the book was going to be sent to all retailers. So it could be considered 1st come, 1st serve.

I expected much more from an anniversary ish, granted we got the massive death count in #144, but for all of the buildup 150 had it fell short IMO

That's the beauty of it. Buck the trend of major junk in "anniversary issues" and kill'em all in random number issues. Keeps it fresh. Keeps everyone n their toes.

I agree. The most surprising thing that happens in the issue is the part in the letters page with Kirkman talking about Moore. Entertaining, but nothing special. I'd give the issue a 6.5/10.
