So hey is TWD #1 really going in the $1000 + range now

 

It's not. CGC 9.8 copies sell in the $500-600 range.

 

Or $700

 

There hasn't been a $700 sale since that multi-item BIN back in March

 

sold one for $700 Friday

 

The one you had listed at $825 on ebay? Considering that aggiez had one listed at the same time with a $675 BIN (that didn't sell) that's a bit surprising - but, hey, good for you.

 

This guy went after my 9.6 and through e-mail talked him into the 9.8 off ebay so only fees was paypal...good stuff!!

It's got to be that same buyer's mentality that you've experienced as a show dealer and I have experienced as well.

 

Some guys will buy a book because they got a 15% break on the price before they buy one for full price even if the full price is a better deal.

I was about to complete the deal for the 9.6 and at the last second said I could lower the price on the 9.8 and he was all about it!! Shipped it out today

hello all, i finally got around to getting my WD #1 graded at this past weekend Chicago Comic Con and it came back 9.6 not bad for my first cgc submission. i'll post a pic of it later on tonight.

Believe me he is my fav charter besides Rick but I just have a feeling that he is going soon. He has been around since Issue #2 and besides Rick and Carl no one else has been around that long
