The seller had written an article on it for CBG and said he was the one who convinced Overstreet that it existed. In the category of "you never know," someone noted that a nice copy of this issue popped up on eBay some months back with a BIN of, I think, something like $125. Naturally, it was immediately snapped up by some lucky buyer. JvR11

I'm not the one who discovered that- Bakerites everywhere already knew about that one. Even Sqeggs. I don't even think I discovered the TR 19 panel swipe on Brides in Love. However, I do believe I was the first to catch this one (from Teen-Age Temptations #8): sacentaur

However, I do believe I was the first to catch this one (from Teen-Age Temptations #8): There's an eBay seller who pushes the Secrets of Love and Marriage as a Baker, when clearly it's actually a swipe. But I think it's nicely done and I might like it better than the Baker original -- apparently it's another Giordano swipe.

And that's because Baker was the inspiration, if not the actual artist. However, the source was an obscure panel buried in a St. John book from three years earlier. Very cool that you were able to discover that. Now go discover a copy of All-Picture All-True Love Story 1 for me.

Sqeggs
I assume a Baker fan won this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nov-1955-Nugget-men-039-s-magazine-Vol-1-No-1-mag10658-/352290301657?nma=true&si=fzl8syYJm99fAuNCLmx8M4PiQfc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I imagine the seller was surprised at the price he got for a "vintage girlie magazine," as he described it. Well worth picking up a copy, for anyone who doesn't have one.

I may be forgetting, but I don't think any of the auction houses have offered a copy noting the Baker angle. Heritage listed a copy last year, but without mentioning Baker. It sold for $51. Of course, I'd forgotten this last auction was only listed in "magazine back issues". The others I'd seen were listed in Golden Age comics.
