So I was so busy Sunday when I picked up my books from CGC that I glanced at the grades. I was really disappointed with a Thor #337 that I had subbed. I still think it was damaged at some point between my house and the CGC tables. It only got an 8.5. Well, I was preparing a sales thread to include this one and looked at the picture I took to get the PQ. Notice anything unusual? I didn't until just now.

I confess that I had only looked at the outside of the book before subbing it.

One can only imagine if this came back a 9.6 or 9.8

judging by a scan is bad enough...judging by a distant digicamera is impossible.

Lighthouse submitted a double cover Tomb Of Dracula that came back a 9.6 triple cover. Somehow he totally missed the 3rd cover.

What's more is that I had two other respected boardmembers look at this book when I was trying to figure out what I missed. Neither one of them caught the double cover designation either.
