I always dreamed of one day owning these two pages. I always knew who owned them, but could never get in a financial position to pull it off, now someone else has my dream. What it must feel like to wake up every morning to these two on your wall, awesome!!! and congrats Bill.

To list it in his CAF and then put in on ebay? (shrug)

I would think Ebay would be the last place to sell this thing.

For it to show up on ebay I figured for sure it was as stolen image.

Wow. Can't believe he's selling it...on eBay.

 

Anyone know what the reserve is? I would practically guarantee that he sells it -- whether he does it on eBay or off eBay...someone will go to the mat for that splash. He's a collector so I bet he'd be open to trade as well...

Maybe the seller didn't like Buyatari's comment about the nose (;-)

 

Oh well, I still can't afford it and personally I think he is mad to sell it.

Sorry guys... as much as I love the X-Men, I've always LOVED the splash to Avengers 1--a BIG part of the reason I wanted to buy a copy of the book (probably like it about as much as I do the splash from Avengers #4). I just really, really dig the composition of the picture.
