Very nice. I'm a fan of acrylic myself.

Not to use, but to look at. I don't art.

Thanks! Acrylic is a little stickier than the India ink I'm used to but it's fun to try new things from time to time.

I've been watching this thread and, wow! So much talent!! (worship) I am moving from my apartment and found some old stuff hidden away, so I am posting my attempt at a watercolour owl I did about 4 yrs ago. Please don't laugh at him. (thumbs u

I just heard yesterday that two of my paintings from earlier this year were accepted to the 1-14 August exhibition in Vancouver held by the Federation of Canadian Artists.

If anyone is in Vancouver during that time, feel free to check them out! This exhibition is called "Small, Smaller, Smallest" and features small artworks. Mine are 8 x 10s (below).

It is the first time I will exhibit physical artworks!

Wow Mio!

When I just scrolled by that first painting I actually thought I was looking at a picture for a few seconds. Those are fantastic. Congrats!

So did I.

I thought they were painted teapots and thought, cool. Then I read your post and quickly scrolled back up and realized they were paintings of painted teapots an though, holy mess!

Very well done Mio. :applause:

Thanks, guys. www.gilmourfineart.com if you want to see my other stuff. I have only been painting for four years in my free time, so the inventory there is a bit small.

Pardon me spamming, but will trade paintings for comics :P

My folks brought up an old box of my stuff. Much to my surprise they had kept the, "comics" my friends and I drew when we were 10 years old. I apparently wasn't against drawing violence or using curse words at the time. If you are curious, my drawing skills never really advanced past this state lol Still love me some funny books though!!
