Isn't Captain America and GI Joe in the works?

And Thor and Iron Fist (that one was new to me, but USA Today said it's coming out this year.)

Jonah Hex would make a great movie. I voted for Sgt. Fury too. Conan would work if they got Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to play him.

He would be great as Black Adam in a Captain Marvel (Shazam) movie, too.

I think that if ANY of these characters have films made, the villain would be what defined the movie itself.

No good villain = failure.

Cap America vs. Red Skull

Thor vs. Loki/The Enchantress

Iron Fist vs. Sabertooth

Captain Marvel vs. Black Adam

Green Lantern vs. Sinestro

G.I. Joe vs. Cobra

hm

Not a problem, methinks.

Wonder Woman stumps me, though. I don't know if she's got any compelling villains other than Cheetah in her history.

Iron Fist vs Endless Ninja Fight.... would be SICK... haha they are probably just going to stick to his origin and have him fighting Duns from Kun' Lun which would make a good movie.....

Sgt. Rock has been in and out of production since the early 90s.... currently, the plan is to a '300' sort of approach with it... live actors, but with heavily digital/stylized environments.

My guess? This movie is still at least 3 years away.

I would LOVE to see a Jonah Hex movie, and a Blackhawk movie. Those'd be great.

Shep

After 611 votes, no one picked Robin yet either.

The funny thing is we are MUCH more likely to get a ROBIN movie than many of the other characters on the list. This is because movie execs are not that smart, but they like to ride a good thing into the ground. With the success of Dark Knight, they might think that interest would translate to a Robin movie, or a Batgirl movie, or Catwoman 2, or maybe all of these movies....

I picked Robin!!! I don't care, I loved the Robin comic books when I was a teen. Hell, those were the first books (aside from Batman Knightfall) that I went after when I got back into collecting. I loved seeing Jason Todd get blown to bits (though I did feel a little bad for him after brutal beating he took from Joker) and the Tim Drake replacement was so much better!

Go ahead and call me a nerd. Just remember you collect comics too so the outside world isn't really going to differentiate between us! Ha!
