Opinions on Giant Size X-Men #1 (large scans)

I have this GS X Men# 1 with a crease, on the back, that does not break color.

The 1" diagonal crease is located on the top-left corner near the "COMPLETE FISHING OUTFITS" illustration.

From the scan, the CREASE is very difficult to locate!

What would this grade?

 

Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

No idea, but I would be very curious to find out. Are you going to submit it? If I had to guess I would say the best it could get would be a 9.0

if there is a crease where you say there is, then it grades about 7.5-8.0. still a nice book.

I just a CGC Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love that had a bit of creasing in the back and it looked a lot like this book. It cam in a 9.0. But, is that a "spot" of missing ink on Collosus' head?

 

That would knock it down a git. I'd be more worried about that, than the crease on the back cover.

I wondered about that spot on Collosus' head too... maybe a printing defect, but then again maybe not...

I finally got this GSX#1 back from the CGC.

So...any corner crease (that doesn't break color) is a 9.0 (I guess)

What's funny is that I thought this was a new post and when I looked at the scan I graded it a 9.0....then I scrolled down and noticed I had graded a few months back as an 8.0

 

 

I must have been having a bad day on that day....congrats on a nice grade.
