Hellboy commission!

Hi All,

 

I don’t tend to post about new art I get these days, but I feel this piece is worthy of some roof top shouting, so here goes.

 

With the able assistance of Jason Schachter, I was able to get my third piece of Eric Canete (http://kahnehteh.blogspot.com) goodness.

 

It’s a Hellboy commission, featuring Abe Sapiens and Johann and you can eyeball it here -

Hey Simon,

 

Definitely worth shouting from the rooftops - congrats on acquiring this beauty! Seeing the image makes me wonder "what happened?" and "how will Hellboy save the day?" :-) It really draws you in and makes you curious as to the (unrealised) backstory.

 

I really enjoy Eric's unique style and and considered picking up something by him when Jason recently advertised a number of pieces for sale. However, I'm saving madly for SDCC 2010 and the Aussie dollar isn't exactly strong so I had to pass. Best,

Glad you liked it! I got to say though, I think Hellboy ain't saving the day here!

 

keep saving those dollars! Jason had some nice pieces at very reasonable prices in the last batch ($50 and $150 goodies went pretty quickly). In fact, I got the $50 piece...
