I like Mystic #8 too. Revisiting this 9.4 copy I posted 5 years ago! :cloud9:

The good thing about my 6,5 Mystic 8 is no holes in the spine. :baiting:

Yeah, what's up with that? Does it fit snugly in a binder?

This scan is of a xerox that was hole-punched for my comic binder.

Still better than 95% of golden age covers in general!

Not sure what the hatin' was all about. (shrug)

What I do (when I want to put xerox covers in a binder), is just print copies of scans I want, and then put them into sheet protectors, install in a Binder and Wah-Lah!!!

I have about twenty such Binders filled with scans and divided into publishers and or comics. Some that I have for example: Centaur binder with info about scarcity, artists, cover scans, etc. also have Planet Comics, Timely,Pre-Hero Marvels such as JIM, ST,TTA & TOS. I have a lot more but the idea is you can complete some titles that Gerber did not in his Photo Journals, plus have FULL PAGE SCANS with added info to each issue so it's available at your fingertips!!!

 I can'y believe you would say that! That is one of my grail covers (worship)

If that's the case, Richie might sell it to you at a Grail-type multiple....just to be rid of the hideous thing. :kidaround:

You know my favorite two runs are Mystic and Daring Mystery.

One reason (among many) is the covers.

Billy said earlier that Mystic 5 is the worst cover of that run.

But it is like asking what the worst Lou Fine cover is. Whatever you choose is still going to be better than most other covers, period.

(I think I will start a "choose your least favorite" thread.)

Well I trounced around all the tables at the VCC, but could only find one book I really wanted, so I pretty much bought this one right away...

Cap #31 w/cream to off-white pgs for Steve (143ksk)...so I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I have number of Timelys, but only one other Cap, so I am really happy with this one. Camping out at the mail box  Thx Steve.

Love the cover... :cloud9:
