the GA covers really do grab your attention and seem to have more 'life' to them.

unbridled energy and vitality......Eye popping colors is part of what makes the Golden Age...uh....well "Golden"

 

Is that because there was no gloss on the books back then? No "gimmicks" or sparkle....it was all about artwork and talent.

oh there was gloss by most companies companies......the glossiest overall were Quality from what I have seen.....jb

I love the MMC 84 cover! Just love the tribute salute by the heroes. Escpecially Cap! This cover is not the best artistry, but for some reason I have always liked the way it stood out.

I love the MMC 84 cover! Just love the tribute salute by the heroes. Escpecially Cap! This cover is not the best artistry, but for some reason I have always liked the way it stood out.

Its no where near one of my favorite MMC covers, but I really like its odd design and artistry, for me...most likely me alone its sings. Compared to many of the other classic covers in the run it pales, but for ME its cool. You must have covers you like, that really arnt what the general public would deam fantastic? You know, quirkey goodness!
