We can meet at the local casino and bars. I want some Canadian microbrew.

Pat

There's lots of places down town to drink Micro brew.

Toronto is a very well laid out city. Everything is in a grid working from the lake on up and the down town core has everything you could ask for within a 10 minute cab ride or a 20 minute walk.

I don't know about any casinos....those are usually outside the big city but plenty of bars to choose from.

Literally 10 minutes away from the convention center is the Steam Whistle brewery.

Definitely worth the walk, in fact here's directions

Drink up! Be Merry!

Keep in mind, the convention is in the south building again this year; therefore, right across the street from the Steam Whistle Brewery. It's more like a 1-2 minute walk.

Most casinos are pretty far away, with the exception of Woodbine Racetrack and Casino. However, I don't really consider that one a casino, as it's just horse racing and slot machines. It is about 20 minutes away from Downtown Toronto.

There are two in Niagara Falls, ON (Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino), one in Orillia, ON (Casino Rama), and one in Port Perry, ON (Great Blue Heron). Each of these, you're looking at a drive of over an hour away.
