Just because Ebay says it's the last copy, doesn't mean it's the last copy the seller owns, just the last one on the site.

 

Dropping out of a deal because you found a book cheaper from someone else is as bad an infraction as anything you've listed. It shows FAR more dishonesty and questionable business ethics than any of the assumptions you've made about the seller here.
