RMA, I offered to pay you last night but yet you refused to sell to me and still complaining I have yet to send you payment.

 

So what is it going to be? Sell to me? Or keep lying telling everybody that I have yet to send you payment?

lets say anyone of us bought a book of the boards, then asks the seller to give me to the end of the month (I've gotta take the gf out for her birthday). He gives me til the end of the month and gives me the paypal info.

 

so one month passes, and I don't pay - things happen, I got busy, forgot, etc.

 

2 weeks AFTER the deadline the guy checks back with me, no name calling, no insults, but tells me to pay or get put on the PL.

 

Do I

 

A) pay immediately and apologize given that I already have your paypal info?

B) Do I ask if I can pay AFTER COMIC-CON? (Where its at least possible that I'll spend a ton more of the money I should be paying you with?)

C) Do I give you some attitude and tell you I'll pay at a future time and ask you IF YOU STILL WANT TO SELL IT?

D) Do I eat some ice cream?

 

If your answers are B and/or C, doesn't the seller have the right to say "You know what? nevermind, forget the PL, forget this sale."

 

Yes I know the facts aren't EXACTLY these, but its pretty dam close. And pretty dam reasonable IMO.

It's pretty clear to me. This guy strung RMA along endlessly and only offered a half azz douchenozzle acceptance to pay after being nominated. Unless someone desperately needed the $, i dont know why anyone would follow thru with this transaction at this point and not tell him to pound sand. I know i wouldnt sell it at this point.

 

And for the record, RMA and I are HARDLY buddies but he's clearly in the right here imo.

 

Wow, so much to read but this sums it up well as far as my own take on it goes. And RMA has (or at least had) me on ignore and that doesn't impact my perception of the facts.

You are not helping yourself any in this discussion when you post some of the comments that you do. I saw those two posts you deleted on the previous page. Telling people they are a bunch of a@@es is not the way to go.

 

If anything, you are confirming something for folks that is going to hurt your reputation on here in the long run. Consider that with anything else you post here.

+1, I'm not happy about RMA's ideas about selling to PL listers and I was I was feeling sorry for kitsune. I figured that letting him pay and seeing if he actually DID pay would be the equitable solution, If he paid in 24 hrs fine, if he didn't then he goes on the list...but the comments he is making are totally inappropriate.

 

You don't say you are sorry and then add a nasty response, he sounds like a very young kid.

 

It would be best if you just walked away Kitsune before you make yourself look worse.

He is hurt that I didn't pay and wants me on PL. He pm me last night letting me know about PL.

 

I stated to him prior that I will pay after SDCC. It is now after SDCC which I have returned his message about paying which he did not reply.

 

I have stated in this thread numerous of times about paying but it seems like he is more hurt and needs a hug than money.

This is one of the stupidest conversations in recent memory, and a classic example of a tempest in a teapot, but the one thing that shines through is that you are a USDA Prime Grade-A crotchpimple.

I think the issue is that you didn't send payment when you said you would and then when questioned about it, you still didn't send payment, but instead answered with 'attitude'.

 

He's not lying when he says you didn't send payment. You didn't. You could have at any point, but didn't. You could have right after claiming it, but you didn't. You could have at the agreed upon 'end of month', but you didn't. You could have when Comic-Con ended, you didn't. You could have apologized and sent payment when told about the PL list, but you didn't. You could have been gracious and apologetic, but you weren't.

 

And now you get to keep your money and your name off the PL list. I would be happy with that if I were you.

Absolutely. RMA's pm was a neutral statement about nomination to the PL. Rather than a apologetic reply he got a rude and sarcastic reply. I can't imagine many of us would complete a transaction with a buyer at that point.

 

The buyers post a few pages back about RMA crying is further proof of his attitude.

also some advice for any buyers in the future, if you need a FULL month to pay for a comic that is less than $150, you should consider realigning your priorities, either in comic collecting, or life.

 

Nothing wrong with spending tons of money on comics, but no one is forcing you to either.

 

While I'm here, if you can't send out Pay-it-forwards in a timely manner because you CANNOT AFFORD SHIPPING, you probably shouldn't claim a Pay-it-Forward. Also, you should consider realigning your priorities, either in comic collecting, or life.

Yes. Which is not the games that should be played in this thread or else people are wasting fellow forumites' time.

 

But if the buyer posted something or conducted themselves in a way previously which leads to concerns they will use a chargeback or some other activity to get over, I can see why a seller would not follow through once this is proven. That type activity has not been shown here.

 

It is not a game. Once again, RMA posted the situation, was advised to send a PM to the buyer and go forward. When the buyer acted like a dooshnozzle, as he has continued to in this thread, RMA has told him to get lost.

 

You trying to twist this into something else is unbelievably disingenuous. Why don't you or Rupp see what kitsune wants to buy and string you along for a month for? And then when you alert him to the PL he acts like a turd. Let me know how that goes.

 

You keep trying to state Rupp and I are blind to the facts because we have some hate on for RMA. Is that your thinking here? I have such a hate on for RMA, when he posted about his dog dying, I wished him the best. Wow. I really hate this guy, even after all the blowups we have I posted something so evil and twisted as "RIP" and "sorry for your loss". Please take that wrong thinking somewhere else, and get back to the facts.

 

1) Any buyer that doesn't follow through on a transaction is brought up in this thread as a resolution option for the seller.

 

2) The buyer has a period of time to resolve the situation, or end up on the PL or HOS.

 

3) If the buyer follows through in the appropriate time and manner to resolve the situation, then they avoid the PL or HOS.

 

That's the facts. And in this case, RMA brought up the situation, alerted the buyer they were going on the PL (not to pay for the book - that they were going on the PL), and then the buyer offered to pay for the book with a little smart aleck comment. But he did offer to pay for the item finally.

Facts have been posted and confirmed by kitsune, who is by the second proving my point, and he still hasn't paid. He has made no arrangements to pay. He has offered no apology, no excuse, no anything. He has now resorted to acting like a turd.

He did want him to follow through and then, stay with me here, kitsune acted like a turd. That is what this is about. You are saying that RMA is in the wrong. The buyer was wrong period. Not for following up but just wrong, period. RMA has already acquiesced to the fact that kitsune is not going on the PL. You are the one that keeps dragging it out and accusing me of instigating and points and other crud because you can't argue with reason. Let it go.
