showcase22gr1959
I predict even a low grade 1.0 or 2.0 will go for a grand in two years just like the low grade AF#15. Almost embarrassed to join the club with my recent acquisition. Almost Welcome to the club! I wouldn't be embarrassed...you should see my cover less copy. showcase22gr1959
Hi Everyone, Showcase 22 CGC 8.0 Mound City will be up for auction in less than five minutes (make it approximately ten minutes). This is going to be exciting since high grade Silver Age DC are doing very well in this auction. showcase22gr1959
Well, that was a bit disappointing..... This is still very descent...since we would have never thought a 8.0 would be a five figure book a year ago. This will definitely bring up the price for 6.0 and above. dem1138
Well, that was a bit disappointing..... How so??? Right in line with valuations... Below is a list of the current estimate prices I think SC22 should be valued at. Of course, the prices are for cream/off white pages, but if your copies have higher page quality add a 10%-25% premium. 9.2 $80000-$100000 9.0 $40000-50000 8.5 $30000-35000 8.0 $15000-20000 7.5 $10000-12000 7.0 $7500-8500 6.5 $6000-7000 6.0 $5000-5500 5.5 $3500-4000 5.0 $2500-3000 4.5 $2000-2300 4.0 $1700-2000 3.5 $1300-1500 3.0 $900-1200 2.5 $800-900 2.0 $600-

TeddieMercede
9.0 $40000-50000 8.5 $30000-35000 8.0 $15000-20000 Why would there be a 10K jump from 8.0 to 8.5 and only a 5K jump from 8.5 to 9.0 when 9.0 is the current highest grade
showcase22gr1959
You have to keep in mind there are four 8.0's. An 8.5 or a 9.0 may sell a little bit more or a bit less...this is just my estimate. Also, page quality will play a factor in adding a premium. Peewee2 7.5 off-white/white is just as nice as the Mound Copy Edited November 1, 2009 by showcase22gr1959
TeddieMercede
that doesnt make any sense. highest graded copies of books sell for significant premiums over 2nd highest graded books in all areas of the market. By the way nice Action 7.
