Our future ladies and gentlemen....

:screwy:

You've made an excellent point.

Why are the mods allowing SI & Playboy into the comics forums -- General, Sales -- other than to promote CGC's new service?

I think it should all go away to the Water Cooler as OT.

There does need to be a Magazine sales forum.

Have they published a reason why they won't grade pulps, J?

Due to the overhang of the covers, it would unsafe to encapsulate a pulp without damaging them based on the current design of the slab, IMO.

(thumbs u

Simple enough.

Buncha folks have made me all OCD nervous about how I store my slabs. They've said standing them upright allows the books to gravitate toward the bottom of the well, eventually smashing any tiny bottom edge overhang.

I was further told that to store them flat will cause the book to bow downward, leaving center spine stresses.

I was then told I gotta go store them standing-up, spine down.

At SDCC, I looked at a $5,000 9.8 with minute overhang slab damage.
