Sorry for the run-on title. :insane:

 

I recently bought a Daredevil 16 from Art (silverseeker). He suspected that the book was trimmed, but he wasn't really sure. I bought the book with this possibility in mind; the price was right, and he was offering full return privelages.

 

I had a look at the book a couple of days ago, and although I'm no expert, I'm fairly certain it was trimmed. But because the book didn't cost much, and considering that I was informed of the possibility beforehand, I figured I'd keep it anyway just as a filler copy. I sent Art a PM to confirm that I received the book, told him that I thought the book was trimmed, but that I was satisfied anyway and wouldn't be returning it. I come back a couple of hours later to find that Art issued me a Paypal refund for the full purchase amount, insisting that I keep the book as a gift.

 

So thanks again Art. The gesture isn't lost on me, and hopefully it'll serve as a little reminder that, as far as buying goes, this little community is definitely a cut above the rest.

I agree, this is a great place to buy books, i bought some DC archives off The_Black_Hand, it involved a large shipment of them to the UK, I only mentioned it after I'd said i'll take them, so a large amount of work was involved

 

Vince realized that the effort was too great and he didn't have the time, so he offered to send me 3 books free as an apology.

 

I refused to accept his generous offer, paid him for the 3 books and he threw in an extra one free anyway.

 

The ratio of decent people to the Cap Freaks of this world are extremely high here.
