VintageComics
He got some really cool books up for sale right not for sure. but there's all those reports of his shenanigans with raw books Yeah, his graded stuff is definitely more interesting. I have seen shenanigans with slabbed books as well. A true fraud artist won't stop at just raw books. Why people buy off the guy at all still amazes me. Yeah, a guy in the Amazing Fantasy #15 Club thread posted a book he won off Robojo33 or Danny or whatever he calls himself, and everyone let him know who he was dealing with. Hope it works out for him.
VintageComics
I've seen fraudulent slabbed books where the book in the well was changed. If the guy is allegedly committing fraud on raw books, why wouldn't he try it on slabbed books?

Boba
Can slabs actually be cracked without signs of tampering
1koko
Can slabs actually be cracked without signs of tampering I would think not. Real question is whether you actually look at the slab close enough to detect it.

Anyone here has bought his graded books and later to find out it's tampered with?

I didn't say he was switching them, but I know it has happened in the past.
tth2
Can slabs actually be cracked without signs of tampering Apparently yes. Marc Schreuder/Essoilman was doing it until he finally got caught.
Dark Knight
I thought the CGC slabs are tamper-proof meaning if one wanted to crack the slab out, then the slab can no longer be used and/or sealed back.

You`d be amazed at what people are able to do when they put their minds to it. Also, you guys aren`t thinking outside the box enough, because there`s a totally different way to tackle this issue. Let me put it this way--how long do you think it would take a manufacturer of plastic products to reverse engineer CGC`s slabs and produce perfect replicas? Bomber-Bob
I thought it was the CGC labels that were being switched, something they have now addressed as the labels are more secure. Not saying I would ever attempt it but why even bother trying to switch the book when you can more easily work on the label. Less effort for the same result. Very easy and hard to detect if done properly. CGC serial numbers for the relevant comic and grade are obtainable through a variety of sources.
