OT - Photobucket thumbnail question

Hi

 

I know how to get thumbnails out of photobucket...

 

My issue is, how do you get it so when you click on the thumbnails, it goes to a page with the full size image ONLY... I don't want the thumbnails going to the album.

 

Any help?

Make your album private in the Photobucket options.

 

You can test it by logging out of Photobucket and clicking on the thumbnails. It won't let you browse around.

The thumbnail is hotlinked to the large image through HTML.

I think it's a setting somewhere...can you post an example of the thumbnail code you are getting?

 

If I'm not mistaken you can also just remove the "action" code at the end of the thumbnail generated code and it will link directly to the image instead of photobucket.

My album was private, however I think because I was signed in I kept seeing the album instead of just the image.

Under Account Options, uncheck the box that says Images Link Back To Album

Just open the full size image, right click on it and copy the URL. That's the direct link to the image and nowhere else. That's how I made my sig line (thumbs u

This is exactly what it was. Now I can post clickable thumbnails with no chance of anyone seeing my album of penguin porn. Thanks!
