PGM Avengers 4

I picked this up over the summer. PQ is Cream to OW. The covers have minor creasing all over, but nothing color breaking. I'm mainly curious how the chipping affects the grade: IE, if it weren't there, would it affect the overall grade significantly...

Yeah, but white covers hide flaws so it's a wash. Still I'd be comfortable with 5.0. Certainly it's nicer than a 4.0

It was sold to me as a F- (5.5), which in retrospect does seem a bit on the high side. I was grading at a 5.0 based on my Grading Guide, but like I said, I wasn't sure about the chipping.

4.5/5.0. The chipping is not significant. Probably wouldn't even increase the grade if missing.

That is a true statement. So judging from the scans, it looks exactly like my CGC 6.0 I sold. My copy had a lot more chipping and a 1" tear in IM's arm.

 

Based on that, 5.5-6.0

 

In hand may be different.
